Overview
Climate control makes the difference between a comfortable trip and a miserable one. Car Toys installs diesel and gasoline air heaters, 12-volt rooftop and split air conditioners, and roof fans in camper vans, overland trucks and work vehicles.
Heaters and air conditioners are some of the biggest loads on a power system, so we plan climate together with your batteries and charging. Fuel lines, exhaust and intakes are routed and mounted to the manufacturer's instructions, and controls are placed where you can reach them from bed.

For multi-vehicle orders we upfit one vehicle first and walk it with your team before the rest of the order is built to match.

Every vehicle is installed to the manufacturers' instructions, tested system by system, and documented.

Vehicles are returned on schedule with documentation, so they go straight into service.

Questions we hear often
Can a heater run all night?
Diesel and gasoline air heaters are designed to run overnight using little fuel and power. We install them with proper exhaust routing and recommend a carbon monoxide detector.
Can AC run on batteries?
Yes, with a correctly sized lithium battery bank and charging. We will tell you realistic run times for your system.
Do you install climate systems in work vehicles?
Yes. We install heaters and cooling for work vans, service trucks and mobile offices.
