Suspension upgrades and lift kits

Suspension built for the weight you carry and the roads you drive.

Part of our overlanding program

Suspension & Lifts

Overview

Racks, tents, water, batteries and gear add up fast, and a stock suspension is not designed for a fully loaded overland vehicle. Car Toys installs suspension upgrades and lift kits that restore ride height, control body roll and add clearance for larger tires.

We start with your vehicle's weight and how you drive, then recommend shocks, springs or coilovers rated for the load. After installation, the vehicle is aligned and checked so it drives well on the highway and on the trail.

What we install

Leveling kits
Restore front ride height and room for larger tires.
Lift kits
Suspension lifts for more clearance and off-road capability.
Shocks and coilovers
Performance shocks and adjustable coilovers for control on and off road.
Springs for load
Coil and leaf springs and helpers rated for added weight.
Control arms and components
Upper control arms and components to correct geometry after a lift.
Wheels and tires
Fitment for larger all-terrain tires.

How an upfit project works

  1. Talk to our commercial team

Tell us about your vehicles, your crews and what they need to carry, power or protect. We will ask the right questions and visit if it helps.

  2. Approve a written spec

We recommend products and a layout, price each vehicle configuration, and send a written spec and quote for approval.

  3. Build and review a pilot

For multi-vehicle orders we upfit one vehicle first and walk it with your team before the rest of the order is built to match.

  4. Install, test and document

Every vehicle is installed to the manufacturers' instructions, tested system by system, and documented.

  5. Deliver ready to work

Vehicles are returned on schedule with documentation, so they go straight into service.

Ready to plan your project?

Talk with our commercial team about your vehicles, timeline and budget. We will recommend the right products and send a written quote.

Questions we hear often

Will a lift affect my ride?

A well-matched suspension often rides better than stock when the vehicle is loaded. We recommend parts for your weight and use.

Do I need an alignment?

Yes. Alignment is required after suspension changes.

How much weight can I add?

Suspension upgrades improve handling and ride under load but do not change the vehicle's rated payload. We help you stay within it.
