Having used a local competitor for many years for the installation of built-in radar detectors, I had never had an opportunity to do business with Car Toys. Being very familiar with the name, I didn't want to step out of my 'comfort zone'. I have a 2004 MB 500SL with only 17,000 miles. The vehicle is in perfect condition except, due to the heat in the garage, the display on the center console COMMAND module was 'melted' and destroyed. Though the 18 year old system 'worked', you couldn't see the navigation, radio station, etc. Even if the display had worked, compared to the technology in just about every car you can buy, it was archaic to say the least. So the MB dealer suggested I visit Car Toys where I met Tim Stokes. I was a little apprehensive at first, thinking about taking the entire car apart and retrofitting it with a new system. I was terrified. Tim however assured me that this was not his first rodeo (as we say here in Texas), and that we were in good hands. We chose the SONY XAVAX5600 because of the excellent reviews. We dropped the car off, said good-bye and hoped and prayed for the best. Yesterday, my wife and I picked up the car and for the first time in years, this old, lacking in technology, perfect condition 'antique' was a blast to drive. I streamed music from my iPhone, listened to a Podcast, called about 10 people, and it works, sounds and looks incredible. We are so appreciative of the excellent work and incredible service we received from everyone at Car Toys and especially, Tim. His manager and new manager trainee (Antonio) could not have been more professional. I would (without hesitation or reservation) recommend Car Toys to anyone thinking about doing anything electronic or otherwise to their vehicle. Tim, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was trying to replace speakers (rear speakers on my FJ Cruiser), and talked with the guy in the store. I told him which speakers I wanted (** Important **I didn't ask him which to use), and bought them. Of course they didn't fit, but the same guy refunded 100% of my money, no questions asked. These guys are VERY nice, and not intimidating. I will be asking them about future upgrades and will let them do the installation. Thanks Car Toys. Very Much, Michael

The Willowbrook store. Victor was the technician and did a great job. He was so patient with me teaching me how to use my new equipment. He was very concerned that I was happy with the product. Tammi, the sales rep was also very informative and helpful ensuring that I got the correct products for my vehicle at an affordable price. Very professional team. Will definitely go back for all my vehicle after market needs.
