Auxiliary RCA audio input for select 1995-2002 GM group vehicles.
Vehicle specific information:
- Radio must have external CD Changer capabilities.
- Not compatible with factory external CD changer present. Takes place of changer.
- Not compatible with factory RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment) present.
- Connects to 9-pin connector at headunit.
Note:
- Not compatible with single DIN 6-disc (in-dash) slave CD Changer; GM9-AUX takes the place of this
6-disc slave CD Changer.
- GM radios 2000 and earlier are not capable of controlling two units; therefore, these radios will
need to have the slave unit disconnected.
- Camaro radio must be AM/FM/CASS radio.
- Not compatible with 1995 -1999 AM/FM/CD radios.
- Not compatible with vehicles equipped with in-dash 6-disc slave units.
- Pontiac radios AM/FM/SINGLE CD headunits use 9-Pin data port for an OEM cassette deck and are
NOT compatible with the GM9-AUX.
- Pontiac radios 2000 and earlier are not capable of controlling two units; therefore, these radios will
need to have the slave unit disconnected in order to use the GM9-AUX.
