Car Toys Return Policy


We continually strive to exceed our customer's expectations.

Our Guarantee: If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Car Toys, you may return most merchandise within 30 days of the original purchase date. You may receive a full refund* or exchange. In order to receive this full refund or credit, we require that the returned merchandise be in new, complete and original condition. You may exchange most merchandise within 30 days of the original purchase.**


Returns and Exchanges: Audio & Video Items: All returned/exchanged products must be brand new 100% complete with all parts and packaging materials, less then 30 days old**. All returns must have original proof of purchase provided. Wireless Phones: AT&T wireless phone purchases must be returned/exchanged with box, manual and accessories within 14 days. T-Mobile wireless phones may be returned up to 14 days. All T-Mobile phones phones returns must include all equipment, box, manual and accessories. T-Mobile phones can be exchanged for another phone up to 30 days from purchase. Verizon Wireless wireless phone purchases must be returned/exchanged with original box, unaltered UPC, and include the manual and accessories within 14 days. **Portable Navigation, Radar Detectors & Portable Video Products: Product in resellable condition, with box, packing materials and all accessories may be returned for credit or refund within 5 days of purchase when bought in one of our stores and 14 days from the date of purchase when purchased on CarToys.com.


Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of at least 25% will be charged for merchandise returned without original packing materials, boxes and parts.


Non-Returnable Merchandise:

  1. Special orders may not be returned. Due to the special nature of ordering non-stocked merchandise, special orders may not be returned for refund or credit. Special orders are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Deposits for special orders that we are unable to cancel are not refundable.
  2. Labor may not be returned.
  3. Insurance Replacement merchandise is not returnable. This includes replacement dashes/bezels, ashtrays, armrests, special painting, glass repair, etc.


*Refunds: No refunds will be given for unused gift cards or promo cards. Neither a gift card nor promo card can be exchanged/returned for cash. No cash will be issued for purchases made with a Car Toys Gift Card, Promo card or warranty redemption card. A house credit will be issued which is non-redeemable after 90 days of issue. Refund check(s) will be processed and mailed after approximately 14 working days. All refunds which were originally paid in the form of cash or check are in the form of check; cash refunds from the store are not authorized for amounts over $150. If the purchase was paid by credit card or was financed, the appropriate account will be credited. Wireless phone customers should refer to their carrier service agreement and Car Toys secondary agreement.


Store Credit: May be used toward any merchandise at Car Toys.


Damage: Car Toys is not responsible for damage to the car or theft of any possession inside the customers car while parked on Car Toys’ premises. Car Toys will make every effort to secure the vehicle, i.e., locking the car and arming alarm.


Price Guard Guarantee: If you purchase an item from a Car Toys retail store and you find a lower price within 60 days of your purchase, including our own sale price, that Car Toys store will gladly refund you the difference. Sorry, due to the large number of unauthorized dealers selling products on the Internet, we do not currently match online pricing in our retail store locations.


All checks returned by bank for non-payment will be charged a $20.00 service fee.


Additional Online Order Policies

Any charges for shipping are deemed non-refundable once your initial order has been processed and the return is subject to a $15.00 shipping fee(If the initial cost of shipping is greater than the fee, the buyer would be assessed the full charge incurred for shipping).


The buyer is responsible for all return costs associated with returning a product for refund or exchange.


If an item is shipped and the buyer refuses delivery, you will be charged the full amount of shipping which was incurred.
