An alarm system with valet mode can be switched to Valet Mode, in which it will not arm.

VG-2 Alert (Product Attribute)
VG-2 Alert is a system in which your radar detector will warn/alert you if a police officer is using the VG-2 system. The VG-2 system is used by police officers to determine whether or not you have a radar detector on board your vehicle.

Vibrating alert (Wireless Phone Feature)
Discreetly notifies the wireless phone user of an incoming call by activating a soft vibrating mechanism, which may reside in the battery pack or in the phone itself.

Video Out (Product Attribute)
Video outputs are used to hook up additional monitors on a DVD player. The video outputs use a RCA cable to hook up any additional monitors you may want or require.

Voice Dialing (Wireless Phone Feature)
The phone can dial names and numbers in your phone's memory locations using spoken words. Also known as voice-activated dialing.

Voice mail access button (Wireless Phone Feature)
A feature on some advanced phones that allows you to retrieve your voice mail messages (via your network provider) with a single button.

Voice mail/text message indicator (Wireless Phone Feature)
An icon or text alert on the phone display that notifies the user of new voice mail, text messages or e-mail. Some phones have a one-touch callback feature on the display that, when pressed, automatically dials the number stored in a text message.

Voicemail (Wireless Plan Feature)
Allows callers to leave a message if your phone is busy or turned off. The message waiting indicator will show the number of new messages received.

Volume Control/Mute (Product Attribute)
Volume control determines how loud or quiet your music is. Many in dash units have a rotary knob or two button system in which the volume can be adjusted from nothing to very loud. Many in dash receivers also have a mute button which enables the user to completely deaden the music for their desired period of time with the press of a button.

Volume select/display (Wireless Phone Feature)
This feature enables the user to set and alter the phone's volume level. An LCD display provides a visual readout of the sound level.
