PC synchronization (Wireless Phone Feature)
Transferring data such as phone numbers and names between your wireless phone and your laptop or PC. Wireless phones with personal digital assistant (PDA) features may allow you to synchronize information such as schedules or contacts stored on Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes.
PDA/Smartphone (Pay Per KB) (Wireless Phone Feature)
Connect your mobile PDA or Smartphone to your PC with PDA/Smartphone from Verizon Wireless, providing over-the-air synchronization of e-mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks. $0.015/KB or approx. $15/MB. Wireless Sync not included. Voice and other data services will be billed per your digital calling plan. Service available within the NationalAccess or, with certain devices, the Mobile Broadband service area. Megabyte allowance and charges for kilobytes over the monthly allowance apply to data sessions; all other usage charged in accordance with Calling Plan. Data sessions are rounded to next full kilobyte at end of each billing cycle. Only total of kilobytes transmitted above allowance each billing cycle may appear on bill. You are responsible for all charges, including all data sent and received and overhead whether or not you or your recipients actually receive the data. Overhead is all data that is in addition to user-transmitted data, such as control, operational and routing instructions, error-checking characters as well as retransmissions of user-data messages that are received in error. Any unused portion of the megabyte allowance is lost. Data sessions may be used for following purposes: (i) Internet browsing; (ii) email; and (iii) intranet access (including access to corporate intranets, email and individual productivity applications like customer relationship management, sales force and field service automation. Intranet access requires the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.). Unlimited plans are for individual use only and not for resale. The Unlimited plans cannot be used: (1) for any applications that tether the device to laptops, PCs, or other equipment for any purpose, (2) for uploading, downloading or streaming of movies, music or games, (3) with server devices or with host computer applications other than the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, including, without limitation, Web camera posts or broadcasts, continuous jpeg file transfers, automatic data feeds, telemetry applications, automated functions or any other machine-to-machine applications, (4) as substitute or backup for private lines or dedicated data connections.
Data sessions automatically terminate after two hours of inactivity unless used with a Mobile IP-capable device. We reserve the right to deny or terminate service, without notice, to anyone who uses the Unlimited plan in any manner prohibited above or whose usage adversely impacts our network or service levels. We also reserve the right to terminate service upon expiration of Customer Agreement term.
Peak Minute Fee (Wireless Plan Feature)
The charge per minute for a call not placed during the peak period.
Peak period (Wireless Plan Feature)
The high-use period of the business day when wireless service providers charge their highest rates, typically 6am to 9pm.
Personal Information Manager (PIM) functions (Wireless Phone Feature)
Includes calendar, meeting planner, scheduler and other features commonly found on personal digital assistants (PDAs). Higher-end phones may combine the attributes of both organizer and phone, with a full keyboard or handwriting-recognition software.
Picture & Video Messaging (Wireless Plan Feature)

PREMIUM NETWORK ACCESS (MB) (Wireless Phone Feature)
Without the V CAST VPak or Mobile Web feature, you will still be able to access features such as Get It Now®, TXT Messaging, Picture & Video Messaging, and V CAST Music. ?You will, however, incur megabyte usage charges while using these services. ?You will not be able to access V CAST Video without the V CAST VPak. Billing for Data Sent or Received. Data sent or received using Mobile Web (including advertising), Get It Now®, and other data applications will be aggregated at the end of each month, rounded up to the nearest whole megabyte, and billed at $1.99 per megabyte. Rates are rounded to the nearest whole megabyte. One megabyte is equal to 1024 kilobytes. Applicationcharges apply in addition to charges for data sent/received.

Customer must be within the V CAST Coverage Area in order to download Get It Now applications, text and picture messages. The V CAST Coverage Area is available in over 50 major metropolitan areas covering 1/3 of Americans. Customer can download 3-D Games anywhere within the V CAST or Get It Now Coverage Areas. Download fees and megabyte usage charges apply. V CAST Alerts are charged in accordance with your Text Messaging subscription.
V CAST cannot be used: (1) for access to the Internet, intranets or other data networks except as permitted via Get It Now and getWeb; (2) for any applications that tether your phone to laptops, personal computers or other devices for any purpose; (3) for sustained, high bandwidth applications, including, without limitation, Web camera posts or broadcasts, automatic data feeds, Voice over IP (VoIP), or peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing; and/or (4) as a substitute or backup for private lines or dedicated data connections. We reserve the right to limit throughput or amount of data transferred, deny or terminate data services, without notice, for anyone we believe is using the V CAST service in any manner prohibited above, whose usage adversely impacts our network or service levels or whose usage exceeds reasonable levels. Private system/two-way capability (Wireless Phone Feature)
Also known as two-way radio capability. This describes a phone designed to work in private systems. Pressing a button on the handset allows you to speak to other users of that system in walkie-talkie fashion.
