Data Storage (Wireless Plan Feature)
The amount of digital space that comes with the plan
Decline Insurance (Wireless Phone Feature)
Selecting this option indicates you have decided NOT to enroll in the Total Equipment Coverage, Asurion Wireless Phone Protection or Extended Warranty programs at this time. For any of these Equipment Protection programs, Verizon Wireless customers can only enroll within 30 days of the following: - New account activation with new equipment
- Upgrade with new equipment purchase
To enroll in the Total Equipment Coverage, Extended Warranty, or Asurion Wireless Phone Protection program, customers should contact Verizon Wireless Customer service at 1–800–922–0204 or visit any Verizon Wireless retail store location. Or, to enroll in Asurion Wireless Phone Protection, customers may call Asurion directly at 1–888–881–2622.
Decline V CAST Mobile TV (Wireless Phone Feature)
You will not be able to access V CAST Mobile TV features without a V CAST Mobile TV Limited or Basic Package subscription. V CAST Mobile TV monthly fees will not be billed to your account. Declining this feature does not block your handset from subscribing to V CAST Mobile TV in the future. You can subscribe to V CAST Mobile TV at a qualifying Verizon Wireless store, by calling one of our customer service representatives, or from the Subscription Manager of Mobile TV capable handsets. The Subscription Manager is opened immediately following Activation (initial launch) of the Mobile TV client. It is also available under the options menu. Billing for Data Sent or Received. Megabyte charges apply to Basic and Select Plans. Unless you subscribe to the V Cast VPak, V CAST Mobile TV Select or Premium Calling Plans, megabytes sent or received using Mobile Web (including advertising) will be aggregated each month, rounded up to the next megabyte, and billed at $1.99/MB. Rates are rounded to the nearest whole megabyte. One megabyte is equal to 1024 kilobytes. Applicationcharges apply in addition to charges for data sent/received.
Deposit (Car Toys Order Status)
This order is on hold pending payment of a deposit, which the wireless carrier will keep for the duration of the contract, then refund. Car Toys collects this deposit and forwards it to the wireless carrier.
Detachable Faceplate (Product Attribute)
Detachable faceplates are the most common theft deterrant used on CD players and other mobile audio equiptment. A detachable faceplate can be taken off of the main unit to prevent a thier from stealing your stereo system. What good is a CD player without the controls. Many products will not power up and work without the cover plate (faceplate) with the controls.
Detailed billing (Wireless Plan Feature)
A monthly bill that specifies details of your phone use, including airtime used as well as any long-distance or additional charges.
Dial shuttle/Smart key (Wireless Phone Feature)
A designated key, rotary dial or toggle key that eliminates the need to use several keypad buttons to access the phone's features or scroll through locations in the memory. Variably called a smart dial/button or express key.
Digital cellular (Wireless Phone Feature)
The phone transmits calls over digital frequencies in the 800MHz to 900MHz range. It only operates with the specific technology encoded by a digital service provider.
Digital PCS (Wireless Phone Feature)
Personal communications services. A phone compatible with a digital wireless service operating at 1900MHz, typically coming with calling features such as call waiting, voice mail and caller ID.
Directory Assistance (Wireless Plan Feature)
Directory Assistance allows you to dial 411 from a T-Mobile phone and talk to an operator who will connect you to the people, places, businesses, and services you need to reach in a hurry. Directory Assistance is $1.25 + airtime, and the operator will place the call for you. You can make up to three requests per call for just $1.25
Display (Product Attribute)
The screen in which you look at.
Display Dimmer (Product Attribute)
Allows you to control the Contract or Brightness on the screen.
Dolby NR (Product Attribute)
A patented noise reduction system that increases dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio of Dolby encoded media.
Dual-band (Wireless Phone Feature)
A wireless phone that works on both 800MHz digital cellular services and 1900MHz digital PCS (personal communications service) networks.
Dual-mode (Wireless Phone Feature)
A phone that works on both digital and analog networks. It is designed to work inside and outside the boundaries of your particular digital cellular or digital PCS service provider.
Dual/multiple NAM (Wireless Phone Feature)
Dual/multiple NAM (number assignment module) allows the primary user to establish accounts with different service providers in more than one cellular region.
