Microsoft Corp.'s Windows Digital Media Division needed a cost-effective high-tech mobile theater system to help showcase its Windows Media 9 Series, Microsoft's next-generation digital media platform. So who did they turn to? Car Toys in Bellevue, WA!
Microsoft selected Car Toys because we proved that we could surpass even their most stringent requirements, offering high-quality products and installation within a timeline that enabled Microsoft to give advance notice to key customers, analysts and members of the news media. Working in conjunction with Nside Source, the Northwest's leading designer of retail interiors, Car Toys transformed a 16-foot, 2002 Chevy Silverado Cargo Van into a state-of-the-art "Windows Media Mobile Theater" with custom leather seating for eight and a wet bar.
The installation was conducted by MECP-certified installers Adam Nonis and Ross Fahlen at the Car Toys Bellevue, WA location. Also involved in the project formulation and fulfillment were Bellevue Store Manager Trevor Gravitt, Assistant Manager Greg Rosado, and Car Toys' Regional Manager Paul Miles.
The Windows Media Mobile Theater is currently being used across the country by Microsoft to host demonstrations of Windows Media 9 Series for press and customers.
