Description TrafficKit North America - 3000T The Magellan TrafficKit enables your Magellan RoadMate 3000T 2 to
automatically route you around traffic problems whenever a quicker route is available. Theres no
installation required and a 15-month traffic service subscription is included1. The TraffiKits FM antenna
sends LIVE traffic reports received from NAVTEQand#153; NavTrafficand#153; directly to your Magellan
RoadMate 3000T 2 and uses this information to make advanced calculations adjusting the time and
distance to destination and re-calculating your route if a quick way is available. On-screen icons show the
location of traffic problems such as accidents, road construction, lane reductions, slow-downs, narrowed
roads and more. 2 Magellan RoadMate 3000Ts with a firmware version below 3.05 will require a
firmware update prior to using the TrafficKit. This update is included with the Magellan RoadMate 3000T
TrafficKit package.
